We are looking for interns.
Ready to embark on an adventure in one of the coolest places to work in Brazil? To put data before judgement, question everything and apply machine learning techniques to recommend products on some of the largest ecommerces in the country?
If you answered yes to the above: here is your chance!
1. Get the data! First, fill out the form below and we will send the testing and training data directly to your email!
2. Read the email. After step 1. you should receive an email that will explain in detail the challenge. In a nutshell, you are going to try to infer the gender of ecommerce users based on their navigation.
3. Choose your weapon. After familiarizing yourself with the challenge, you need to figure out how you're gonna tackle it. We don't care if you use Python, R, MATLAB, C/C++, Julia, JS, Scala, Java, Excel, FORTRAN, GO, Assembly or even if you take a magneticly polarized needle and directly alter the bits of your hard disk ... as long as it gets the job done.
4. Submit your answer. Once you have a good-enough answer, use the last form on this page to submit it. You will need to send a csv with two columns: userId and gender and we will tell you your score on the fly. You shouldn't hesitate nor be hasty, you have 3 tries per day.
5. Wait for it ... Now you just have to wait for the timer to reach zero and see if we call you for the next step of the selection process. We will anounce the top scores on this page at the end of the challenge.
What's the timer at the top of the page?
The amount of time remaining for the challenge. Once it reaches zero: game over. No more submissions will be accepted.
What are the prerequisits required for the internship position?
Since this is an entry-level position, you don't need any prior experience.
The only thing you must have is to be regularly attending an institution of higher learning (like a university or college).
